🇺🇸@COVID19Up: The CDC has postponed tomorrow’s emergency meeting about COVID-19 vaccines and reports of heart inflammation in young people, due to the observation of the Juneteenth National Independence Day holiday.
Erm what? We can’t have an EMERGENCY MEETING to discuss why young adults are being hospitalized for post-vaccine heart inflammation because of a holiday that didn’t officially exist until TWO HOURS AGO?

The meeting will be rescheduled to be included as part of the June 23-25 ACIP meeting.
Vaccine advisers to the CDC reported for the first time on June 1 that there had been a “higher-than-expected number” of cases of a heart ailment among young people who’ve recently received their second doses of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 mRNA injections.
